FOR COMPANY CAR
AND VAN OPERATORS
100% Capital Allowance is now permissible on the purchase of business Cars having a CO2 rating of up to 110g/km, this rule will run until 30th March 2013.  For vehicles with ratings above 110g/km the Capital Allowance is 20% per annum up to a maximum of £3000 based on a reducing balance. Vans are also written down at 100% in the first year. Benefit In Kind taxation is also reduced for company car drivers.
